Verandah dreams...

Today as the rain poured down, the vegies almost grew before my eyes, and the dryer misted all the windows I dreamed of this.

Not just to sit and watch the rain fall with a nice hot choclate and some super yummy, gooey choc raspberry muffins.
But also, ever practical, to sneak a clothes airer down the side and get some of this washing dried!!
Hope you had a nice dry weekend whever you are.

  1. I'll dream right along with you--these are lovely! I want you to get all your permits and move your new home onto your land so you begin making it look as wonderful as your inspiration pix :)

  2. Thanks, you'd have to scatter a few toys into every picture :)
I am hoping it can be what we are dreaming, we will just have to wait and see.

  3. Oooh yes, I love a good long expansive, perfect for scooters and tricyles kind of verandah. Before we bought Betsy, your house was my dream house. Betsy, because she is a California bungalow has a closed in front verandah that has made a lovely bedroom and entry foyer and we would not open it up again. She does have a huge back deck which would be brilliant except that only about 3m2 of the 30 m2 is actually undercover and with all this rain it is a nightmare. Still trying to decide on doing the deck roof first or the kitchen...... keep on dreaming it is what keeps me sane living with all these custard walls.

  4. Ahh but Bungalow girl you live in your cute house, I am yet to see this 'Dream' one, wich may well continue to be a dream.
    So you chose well :)

  5. Sigh! This seriously makes me long for summer evenings when you can sit outside for hours and hours! All of the verrandahs are absolutely lovely!
